Soles of Silk - mermaid fountain

I am always a sucker for scenic locations for my photo shoots. When Jamie and I decided to take our trip to Virginia Beach, I also looked at near by Norfolk, Va. for some possible places to shoot. I ended up finding quite a few, one of which was this water fountain below.
This fountain, featuring a mermaid, was only a few hundred feet away from the USS Wisconsin. So after a quick outfit change, Jamie was once again showing off those adorable feet.
Luckily for us, there wasn't many people in this little spot. Most of the people were off in the distance and every so often some would come by, but it was never an issue for more than a couple of minutes. The only issue that we faced was the water itself. Being such a windy day, when the water would shoot up really high, it would blow the water out of the fountain itself. I made sure to keep us out of that area, but we did get wet a time or two.
